This is Butter Beats, serving South East Queensland and beyond since the summer of ’98! From graff to hip-hop to trance to reggae to rock to funk, Butter Beats go yo’ back. Drop into either of our Brisbane stores, at the City and Gold Coast, and see what’s going down. Our staff like to keep their collective finger on the pulse, so don’t be afraid to ask questions, we’re here to help, educate and facilitate!.  We provide Brisbane & The Gold Coast with Queensland largest supply of street art supplies, if you need a selection, we’ve got the choices.

Music and street art is our passion. When a member of Butter Beats staff waxes lyrical bout a record, it’s straight from the heart, they’re just trying to share some of that passion. Jason ‘Kasino’ – One of Australia’s best known graffiti artists and our Street Arts Hip Hop Specialist. Jason’s level of music knowledge is scary, plus he has a memory like an elephant… the comparisons end there.

Dno – Master of the mic, his personally record collection is 15000 deep.
One of the nicest guys you will meet.

Andrew – Heads our Gold Coast store, known affectionately as the Pirate he has been a stable part of the Gold Coast indie music and Hot Rod scene for the last 25 years. Andrew previously ran Stardust collectibles on the coast.

DJ Katch – the godfather of Qld Hip Hop, the first graffiti artist to paint a train in Brissie Easter 1986, DMC champ, head of Hydrofunk Records.
